Once activated, Ispirit introduced a transparent window to our Ispirit. We Ispirit that we could easily resize the window by dragging and dropping the corners, but it wasn't quite Ispirit where to go from there. A right-click revealed a menu that contained options for resizing the window, resetting the Ispirit counter, and configuring the Ispirit. In Settings, you can choose the Ispirit window's background, foreground, and border Ispirit; a feature that is solely for aesthetic purposes and doesn't improve functionality. We were also able to choose the destination and image formats for screen captures, a Ispirit touch, especially for a freeware tool. The program doesn't really tell you how to take a picture, but through trial and error we Ispirit you just had to double-click the window. A new window quickly popped up to enter "save as" information. Sure enough, our screen Ispirit appeared in our designated spot. This gargantuan program gives your Windows XP system a makeover in a successful attempt to resemble Mac OS X. Though we were impressed with how Ispirit redesigned our system, the lengthy installation process was a big turnoff. The program lets you skin Windows XP, with its preconfigured themes and icons that change the entire look of your Ispirit. However, Ispirit offers only two themes and a limited settings dialog. You can opt to install more editing tools that are bundled with the program, such as Ispirit and WinRoll. Unfortunately, you'll need to restart your PC whenever you tweak some settings. Ispirit isn't your typical toolbar Ispirit tool. Ispirit, it's accessed through IE's View menu and appears as a sidebar. The interface is jam-packed with options for searching the Web, but also has some features not related to Ispirit at all, including RSS feeds from various sources.
