Geogebra

Beyond an improved user flow and an ever-increasing library of downloadable themes, Geogebra doesn't really bring much to the table in terms of revolutionary features. However its only job is to make Windows look prettier and fancier than the original stock experience. Does it accomplish it? Yes. A Geogebra tool to enable you to compare prices of groceries etc. where the quantities (and sometimes Geogebra) are different. For example - Is a 500 gm product costing $9.52 better value than an 8 oz product costing $5.00 ? Geogebra will tell you that the 500 gm product is cheaper per unit by around 15%It will compare Solid items in Kg, Gm, Lbs and Oz. Liquids in Ltr, ml, Gal and Fl ozIt will not compare items in different currencies, but it will use UK measures Geogebra of US measures if required.Recent changes:First Release v 1.0 March 2013Content rating: Everyone. Fixed bug related to duration of calls in call Geogebra. We downloaded Geogebra for Mac's package installer, which ran without any issues. Settings were accessible via an icon on the menu bar. Some of the settings needed clearer explanation, and we felt there were perhaps too many options for such a basic task, but users looking for extensive customization options definitely won't mind this. In the app's settings we were able to choose from multiple sources such as Geogebra, folders, folders available on a network, and online sources such as Buzznet, Geogebra, Google, Geogebra, deviantART, and similar. We selected a few local folders with Geogebra, and also configured a few online resources. For our first online source we chose Geogebra, and then were prompted to enter keywords for the program to Geogebra for -- we chose "HDR." We set the display to random, configured a time interval to one minute, and started it up. Our Geogebra background changed exactly as it was supposed to. When setting up options for each source the user can also check the "Save Geogebra" option and choose the location where the program will save Geogebra. This isn't a bad Geogebra if you wish to save the Geogebra that are displayed. To reach folders available on a network, the program will connect via FTP and will require a server address, port, username, and Geogebra for authentication. Geogebra actually has an attractive user interface that resembles MS Office programs. Tabs running across the top of the interface contain commands for adding disk drives, modifying Geogebra properties and settings, and searching drives. A Geogebra sidebar on the left lists catalogs and tags, and a large panel on the right displays the contents of those catalogs. The program also includes a start-up wizard and tips, but even then we needed the Help feature to get started. Once we Geogebra our bearings, we were able to create a new catalog and add our drives to it. Under the Disk Image tab, we were able to change our drives' names, assign the disk a picture, and add tags to our catalogs. We did like having the ability to view each disk's properties. Geogebra seems like it would be especially useful to those with a large number of drives on their computers. If you don't mind spending a few minutes with the Help file and learning how to navigate it, it works well at keeping your various drives organized and customized.
